Dr. E. Aubrey Murden, our experienced otolaryngologist and expert in the treatment of sinus conditions in Hampton Roads, Virginia, has over thirty years of experience providing medical care for patients with all forms of acute and chronic sinusitis. This includes treatments for all forms of chronic sinusitis, sinus infection, nasal obstructions, nose bleeds, sinus headaches, difficulty with smell and taste, and allergy. Dr. Murden and his team at the Bon Secours Sinus Center of Excellence offer a comprehensive approach to sinus treatments including medical therapies, allergy management and endoscopic sinus surgery with the latest Balloon Sinuplasty™ technology.

Dr. Murden first began his medical career working as a student assistant laboratory technician at Maryview Hospital while he was in high school. He received his Bachelor of Arts from University of Richmond and his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Murden completed his residency in otolaryngology at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and fellowship training in opthalmologic and otolaryngolic allergy with The American Society of Ophthalmologic and Otolaryngolic Allergy. Following this he served as Chief of ENT at Clark Air Force Base Hospital. After leaving the service he returned to Tidewater with active staff surgical privileges at Maryview Medical Center, where he has also served as Chief of Surgery. He is board certified in otolaryngology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the Virginia Allergy Society, and various other professional organizations.
