- Call from the physician if the injured worker cannot return to work

- Work status forms faxed to the company contact
- Scheduled follow-up visits
- Work status report to employer giving return-to-work recommendations on activity levels to match the essential functions of the job and reduce lost days
- Referral to physical therapy or specialist as needed with authorization
- Immediate notification of missed visits
- Consulting with the physician on difficult cases and/or concerning questions
