your nurse navigators can help you through a confusing time.

When you hear the words, "you have cancer," it's difficult to hear anything else. We know that it's possible to feel lost in a storm of emotions and worry. That's why we're committed to helping guide you through the process and see you through this journey to survival.

A nurse navigator is a patient educator, advocate and care coordinator who meets with patients as soon as they have a possible cancer diagnosis and helps coordinate further testing. Our certified Nurse Navigators are registered nurses who specialize in oncology. They have distinct knowledge of the health system, the doctors who will partner in your care in addition to your unique needs. Each nurse navigator is exquisitely equipped to work as your advocate. In doing so, they act as more than just a coordinator of services and schedules, they become your true north; a compass that can help you stay focused, grounded and most importantly, healthy.

Patient navigators can:

  • Guide you through the health care system
  • Help you fill out insurance forms or find alternative methods of payment
  • Direct you to resources for diagnosis, treatment, and support
  • Help you schedule, track, and make your medical appointments

While medical oncologists, radiologists, pharmacists, surgeons, plastic surgeons, nutritionists or psychologists see the patient at different points in their treatment, the nurse navigator is a consistent guide.
